These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the products, applications, games, and websites operated by Brus Lai AS ("we", "our", "us"). By accessing or using any of our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Brus Lai AS is a Norwegian limited company (organisasjonsnummer 922 712 476), with registered office at Eidsvikvegen 26, 5302 Strusshamn, Norway.
2. Scope
These Terms apply to:
- This website and any other Brus Lai AS websites
- All mobile applications, games, and digital products developed and operated by Brus Lai AS, including (without limitation) Vexsort
- Any communications and correspondence between you and Brus Lai AS
Where a specific product publishes its own supplemental terms, those terms apply in addition to (and, in the event of conflict, override) the general provisions below for that product.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years of age, or the minimum age of digital consent in your jurisdiction, to use our services. If you are using a service on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.
4. License
Brus Lai AS grants you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive, revocable license to access and use our products for personal, non-commercial purposes, subject to these Terms.
You may not:
- Copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, or sublicense any part of our products
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code or assets
- Use our services in a way that violates any applicable law or third-party right
- Interfere with the operation of our services or attempt to gain unauthorised access to systems or data
5. Accounts and authentication
Our current products do not require account creation. If we introduce optional accounts or sign-in features in the future, we will publish supplemental terms governing their use.
6. User conduct
When using our services, you agree not to:
- Use automated tools, scripts, bots, or other software to interact with our services in a manner not intended by us
- Attempt to manipulate leaderboards, statistics, rankings, or any score-submission mechanism
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or otherwise attempt to derive source code from our applications
- Use our services to harass, defame, abuse, or harm others
- Upload or transmit malicious code, viruses, or harmful material
- Engage in any activity that disrupts or interferes with our services or other users' enjoyment of them
We reserve the right to suspend, restrict, or terminate access to our services for users who violate these provisions.
7. Intellectual property
All content within our products and websites — including but not limited to source code, designs, graphics, audio, level designs, puzzle generation systems, names, logos, trademarks, and trade dress — is the exclusive intellectual property of Brus Lai AS or its licensors. All rights are reserved.
You may not use any Brus Lai AS trademarks, branding, or proprietary content without our prior written permission, except as expressly permitted within the functionality of the relevant product (for example, sharing your own score via a built-in share feature).
8. User-submitted content
Some of our products allow you to submit content such as anonymous gameplay scores. By submitting content, you grant Brus Lai AS a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual license to use, store, and display that content for the purpose of operating the relevant service (for example, aggregating scores into a leaderboard).
9. Availability and changes
We aim to keep our services available and functional but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any product, feature, or service — in whole or in part — at any time, with or without notice. We are not liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation.
10. Disclaimer of warranties
Our services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including without limitation warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or that the services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. Use of our services is at your own risk.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Brus Lai AS, its directors, employees, agents, and licensors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with your use of our services, including without limitation loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable mandatory law, including consumer protection law.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Brus Lai AS and its affiliates harmless from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your violation of these Terms, your violation of any rights of a third party, or your misuse of our services.
13. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of Norway, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Norway, except where mandatory consumer protection law provides otherwise.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be flagged with a revised "last updated" date and, where appropriate, an in-app notice. Continued use of our services after a change indicates acceptance of the revised Terms.
15. Per-product terms
The following sections describe terms specific to individual Brus Lai AS products.
15.1 Vexsort (mobile game)
Vexsort provides one free daily puzzle to all players worldwide, synchronised to UTC, plus a 30-day catch-up archive for replaying past puzzles. Move counts and ranks are computed against the global pool of anonymous solvers.
We reserve the right to change puzzle formats, restart and undo allowances, and any other gameplay parameters at any time. Scores resulting from cheating, automated play, or manipulation may be removed without notice.
